  2. Michiel Veenstra around the world door Daft Punk

Mooi man :)

Vele nieuwssites hebben het over die Dutch DJ

State Magazine, OreganLive, CollegeNews, Fuse. Deze en nog ruim 200 andere muzieksites brachten allemaal het nieuws dat a Dutch DJ the real deal aan het draaien was.

Check bijvoorbeeld dit artikel op fuse.tv:

UPDATE (4/19): The band released the official-official-no-really-official-Pharrell's-voice-does-not-sound-"weird"-and-"fake"-it's-on-VEVO-and-you-can-trust-them version late last night.

Fine, you evil marketing and promotion people at Columbia. You win. You are Machiavellian geniuses and have helped make Daft Punk's upcoming Random Access Memories the most anticipated album of the year. I salute you and your Vine tracklist.

How anticipated are two robots dressed as people? After snippets of lead single "Get Lucky," the duo's collaboration with Pharrell and funk legend Nile Rodgers, was shown on a recent Saturday Night Live, the Internet did what it does best: Speculate wildly and release fake, full-length versions of the track.

But now, Dutch DJ Michiel Veenstra has played what appears to be the official version of the track, recording himself playing the song and posting to YouTube above.

Veenstra's intro, as you'd expect, is in Dutch, but you can definitely make out "radio edit" and "Realdealisk," proving that the phrase "real deal" is, somehow, a global thing.

With DP fans naturally suspect, Veenstra clarified how he got the track in the video's comments section, stating, "Some people mailed me this song during my radio show and as far as I could tell from a quick scan, it's the real deal. It could also be a combination of the 1 minute promo-version and a demo version, but I have a good feeling it's the real thing -- close enough for the record label to start calling and texting me with questions of how I found it during the airplay."

Veenstra was, presumably, too busy to answer the label's phone because HOLY CRAP ARE YOU WATCHING HIS DANCE MOVES RIGHT NOW STARTING AT 2:30 HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR LABEL HE'S BUSY ENJOYING THE SONG!

After listening, we agree that the track is, to quote Veenstra, "absolute kerlecken clifrazie" indeed.
