Het populaire Hongaarse festival Sziget maakt nieuwe namen bekend voor hun editie komende zomer. Eerder werden al headliners als Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons en Florence + The Machine bekendgemaakt en daar voegt The Island of Freedom nu o.a. Mumford & Sons, Lorde en de Nederlandse namen Son Mieux en Coloray aan toe.
Het festival vindt plaats van 10 t/m 15 augustus 2023. Dat is een dag later dan normaal om ervoor te zorgen dat al deze nieuw aangekondigde acts naar het festival konden komen.
