Fontys for Good – Together we Care

Op 9 december vindt op campus Rachelsmolen in Eindhoven de tweede editie van het winterfestival "Together we Care" plaats waar de Fontys community zich belangeloos inzet voor anderen.

Eén van de activiteiten op deze dag, is een 12-uurs estafetteloop die onder de bezielende leiding van Steven Onkelinx wordt georganiseerd. Gedurende twaalf uur lang lopen studenten en medewerkers om beurten zoveel mogelijk rondjes over het parcours op en rond de campus.

Op de dag van kerstavond wandelt Maud Donga, als vertegenwoordiger en aanjager vanuit Fontys, een tocht van 20 km naar de Markt in 's-Hertogenbosch om het ingezamelde bedrag symbolisch te overhandigen bij het glazen huis. Bij Spieren voor Spieren is SAMEN het codewoord ,er valt nog zoveel te winnen voor kinderen met een spierziekte: tijd én kwaliteit. Wij zetten alles op alles om hun missie waar te maken.

Fontys for Good – Together we Care

On 9 December, on the Fontys Hogescholen Campus Rachelsmolen in Eindhoven, the second edition of the winter‑festival “Together we Care” will take place, where the Fontys community selflessly dedicates itself to others.

One of the activities on this day is a 12‑hour relay run, organised under the inspiring leadership of Steven Onkelinx. For twelve hours straight, students and staff will take turns running as many laps as possible around the course on and around the campus.

On Christmas Eve day, Maud Donga, acting as representative and initiator on behalf of Fontys, will walk a 20 km march to the Market in ’s‑Hertogenbosch to symbolically hand over the collected amount at the glass house. At Spieren voor Spieren the keyword is TOGETHER — there is still so much to win for children with a muscle disease: time and quality. We are giving everything we’ve got to make their mission a reality.
