Amerikaanse DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy) and SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy) komen met een logische vervolg op hun party anthems. ‘Sorry For Party Rocking’ van het gelijknamige album (waar ook ‘Party Rocking’ en ‘Sexy And I Know It’ op staan) is hét antwoord als mensen klagen. Redfoo: “Let’s say your parents say ‘stop shuffling upstairs you’re waking me up!’ You can now just say ‘Sorry for party rocking, Mom…sorry for having fun.’”

Socialite Paris Hilton is een oude bekende en een grote fan van de party rockers. Ze heeft het duo gevraagd om haar te helpen met haar nieuwste muzikale poging. Met de hulp van o.a. LMFAO hoopt ze dit keer meer succes te hebben dan met haar debuutalbum Paris uit 2006. Paris over de samenwerking tegen MTV: "We're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO... I've known them since I was a little girl. We grew up together 'cause our parents are friends, so I'm just so proud of them and all their success and what they've done 'cause they've just created this whole Party Rock brand and it's just so awesome."
