Guns N' Roses heeft al bergen nieuw materiaal

Het vorige Guns N’ Roses album duurde een eeuwigheid, maar nu heeft Axl Rose de smaak te pakken. Volgens de Guns N’ Roses-gitarist DJ Ashba, is Axl als een dolle aan het schrijven.

Overvloed aan demo’s

Axl zou al zoveel demo’s hebben, dat ze er wel drie albums mee zouden kunnen vullen, zegt DJ Ashba. "Axl has a lot of great songs up his sleeve. He probably has three albums worth of stuff recorded.”

De gitarist is erg enthousiast over het nieuwe materiaal waar Axl aan werkt. "The stuff I've heard… I've been up in his hotel room many nights and he just sits down at the piano and plays. I'm like 'This is amazing, people have to hear this song' and he's like 'Ah, this is something I'm tinkering on."

Het laatste album Chinese Democracy verscheen uiteindelijk in 2008, bijna 15 jaar na de voorganger.
