Jake Buggs nieuwe album is voor de helft af

Het schiet al op met de opvolger van zijn debuutalbum, vertelde Jake Bugg backstage bij het Isle Of Wright Festival.

Jake Bugg sprak afgelopen zaterdag (15 juni 2013) op het Britse festival met Absoluut Radio over zijn nieuwe album waar hij aan werkt. Jake: "I'm half way through it."

De jonge Britse muzikant vindt het belangrijk dat hij helemaal tevreden is over zijn nieuwe werk, voor hij het uitbrengt. tot nu toe lukt dat aardig.

"I just want to make sure I'm happy with it and I want it to try and be better. Whether it will be or not it's not for me to say. It's for the people that go out there and get it. I'm pretty happy with it so far."

Jake Bugg wil mensen nieuw werk laten horen

Jake wil het liefst zo veel mogelijk muziek uitbrengen. Aan de andere kant wil hij ook de tijd nemen, omdat het wel goed moet zijn.

'As someone who listens to music a lot, I can get bored with albums and songs very quickly and you want something to keep refreshing you and keeping you excited so I want to put something out there for people to listen to. At the same time I don't want to rush it either. I don't want to put it out there if i'm not happy with it.'

Superproducer Rick Rubin werkt mee

Eerder liet Jake al weten dat hij o.a. met superproducer Rick Rubin werkt aan album nummer twee. Hij vertelde ook eerlijk dat hij voor hij met hem aan de slag ging, geen idee had hoe beroemd Rubin eigenlijk is.
