Ed Sheeran heeft nachtmerries over Grammy's

De Britse singer-songwriter hoopt dat zijn nachtmerrie over het geplande duet met Elton John geen voorteken is.

Ed Sheeran heeft al de nodige podiumervaring en speelt met gemak voor volle zalen, maar de Grammy Awardshow is toch een ander verhaal. Die bezorgt hem de nodige onrustige nachten, onthulde hij aan radiostation Mix 106.5.

Eds nummer 'The A Team' is genomineerd in de categorie 'Beste Liedje' en hij treedt tijdens de ceremonie op met Elton John. Over beiden ligt hij 's nachts te piekeren. “Like what happens if I win and what happens if I don’t? And what happens if my voice cracks when I’m singing?'

'I hope it isn’t a pre-warning'

Ook in Eds dromen spookt de Grammy Awardshow rond. 'I keep having dreams about the GRAMMYs and they always end up badly.' In een van zijn nachtmerries liep zijn optreden met Elton John compleet in de soep. Ed hoopt maar dat het geen voorteken is.

“I’m doing the duet with Elton at the GRAMMYs and I had this dream where we decided not to play the song we were going to play and we were going to play this other traditional song. I forgot to give him the piano reference and he just didn’t play. Everyone was really confused and I got told off. I hope it isn’t a pre-warning to what is actually going to happen!”
