Het langverwachte tweede album Sounds From Nowheresville van The Ting Tings is een maand voor de geplande release al online opgedoken.
De opvolger van We Started Nothing uit 2008, stond gepland om 27 februari uit te komen, maar is nu al naar buiten gekomen.
Fans vinden gelekte album online
Het nieuws van het lek blijkt uit de tweets van en naar The Ting Tings. Fans stuurde de band berichten dat ze het nieuwe werk al hadden beluisterd. Het hele album staat online, en dat was absoluut niet de bedoeling.
The Ting Tings reageren op lek
Helft het The Ting Tings-duo Jules de Martino tweette meerdere reacties op het nieuws:
“We should be pissed & outraged but what good would it do? Some selfish idiot who had the music early just couldn't help themselves. J”

Sounds From Nowheresville al eerder gereleased?
Jules roept zijn platenmaatschappij via hetzelfde medium ook op om het album eerder uit te brengen. Of dat ook gaat gebeuren is nog niet bekend.
