Beyoncé heeft een videoboodschap online gezet, waarin ze vol lof spreekt over de Amerikaanse presidentsvrouw.
Beyoncé maakt geen geheim van haar bewondering voor Michelle Obama. In april (2012) werd het nog eens extra duidelijk door de handgeschreven brief die ze op haar blog zette, waarin ze de presidentsvrouw praktisch de liefde verklaarde. De inhoud van de brief heeft ze nu ook vertaald naar een videoboodschap.
Beyoncés lofbetuiging aan Michelle Obama
"She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady," aldus Beyoncé in haar brief en de video. "No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope, she's humble, loving, and sincere. Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us. I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to."
