Björk en David Attenborough maken documentaire

Björk en David Attenborough werken samen aan Attenborough and Bjork: The Nature of Music, een documentaire over de evolutie van muziek.

David Attenborough is de stem en schrijver van veel bekroonde natuurdocumentaires die door de BBC zijn uitgezonden. Dit keer maakt hij voor dezelfde Britse televisiezender een iets andere documentaire. Hij maakt samen met Björk een uitstapje naar de evolutie van muziek.

Inspiratie is Bjorks eerdere project Biophilia

Pulse Films gaat het project produceren. Het productiebedrijf heeft veel ervaring heeft met muziekprojecten (o.a. de docu's Blur- No Distance Left To Run en Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D). Ochoa, uitvoerend producer van het bedrijf, vertelt aan The Hollywood Reporter dat 'Attenborough and Bjork: The Nature of Music' is voortgekomen gekomen uit Biophilia.

'Attenborough and Bjork: The Nature of Music'

Biophilia is het eerder muzikale en multimediale project uit 2011 van de IJslandse zangeres waar Attenborough ook bij betrokken was. Dat project wordt een belangrijk onderdeel van de documentaire. David Attenborough zal op zijn beurt laten zien hoe muziek in de natuur bestaat.
